Food Safety & Sanitation - ServSafe®
8-Hour Food Handler Certification

This 8-hour certification program provides foodservice managers with training in all areas of food safety relevant to a food establishment. Upon attending this course and successful completion of the examination, managers will receive a certificate verifying that they are a certified ServSafe® Food Protection Manager.

Food Safety & Sanitation 16-Hour ServSafe® Certification

This 16-hour course teaches you the essential knowledge to keep your worksite safe and sanitary. The ServSafe® training teaches you the concepts and proper practices required for job success in the food service industry.

Windward Community College - Career and Community Education has developed a new foodservice training program called Hiilaniwai Foodservice Innovations Training (HiFIT). HiFIT is a program that will teach students the basic skills that are needed in the foodservice industry. It will take students from very foundational knife skills all the way through to a graduation project which includes a comprehensive final where students will prepare a chicken dinner in a specified amount of time.
